ACLU Sends Letter of Support to Universities, Urging Them to Protect Campus Speech
Yesterday morning, Trump threatened to withhold federal funding from academic institutions unless they repressed students', faculty's, staff's, and workers' rights to freedom of speech and protest. In response, the ACLU has called on academic institutions to protect campus speech and inquiry. Check out ACLU’s open letter response here.
This is a fear tactic targeting student movements across the country—movements that have created tangible differences in the fight for justice. But for now, that is all it is—just a threat. We will update you as we learn more.

Uplift Corner
Uplift corner is space to help uplift organizations that are creating resources, offering assistance, and more. Making these resources and providing this education to our communities can be time consuming and un-funded work for a lot of these organizations. As a thank you for providing us these resources, please help us uplift our friends in the Uplift Corner!
Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi was a Turkish-American activist who was volunteering with the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) in the West Bank when she was tragically shot and killed by the israeli military. March 6th, we will mark the six-month anniversary of her death. In honor of her life and memory, her family has been fighting for justice and accountability. Unfortunately, their requests for an independent investigation and the release of evidence have not been met.
You can help support Ayşenur’s loved ones in their pursuit of justice by amplifying and uplifting their message on social media on March 6th.
